  Not Smithsonian level by any means but definitely worth the visit if you have some time to burn. We went in the off season so the cafe was closed and it wasn’t busy but A) not like we were looking for food and B) more fun for us to take our time to meander and read everything with no crowds! The young man at the ticket area was SUPER friendly and let us know where to start. We sat in the little theater to watch the history video first and it was very informative - it definitely show cased a lot of great history of the area AND in general I wasn’t aware of (my high school somehow repeatedly only taught about the civil war... don’t ask) The hangar is HUGE and a little drippy if it’s raining but that wasn’t a bother. The planes were fun to look at and there are cockpits you can climb in for some fun photos. We really enjoyed the room with the relics from the war - definitely our favorite due to the old photos and descriptions. It felt like walking into history. Definitely would recommend visiting especially with kids and even more if they’re into planes :) I think anyone interested in history would definitely enjoy a visit. Again, not a super amazing museum you’d go to in a large city, so base your expectations off of it being a smaller area run by (I think) volunteers. But worth a visit if you like aviation!

  I'm not a big fan of this kind of stuff, but I really enjoyed my visit. They have a ton of planes, vehicles, and helicopters. I really loved their war exhibit- the way they set it up is worth the price of admission itself. They have a ton of really cool things to check out. It's worth the admission
