  I love this hike - it's fairly close to Portland and a great way to get a satisfying workout in a shorter distance that can easily be done in a half-day trip. Or make it a whole day and continue all the way out to the coast! Beautiful views and a log book you can sign at the summit. Gorgeous wildflowers in late spring/early summer.
